Oregon Tech Cornett Hall Renovations

BBT designed extensive renovations to Cornett Hall, the first major remodel since its construction in 1964. The updated facility produces essential upgrades and modernized learning spaces for Oregon Tech students. Most importantly, Cornett Hall is a showcase for the campus in making its latest science and engineering programs highly visible to students, faculty, and visitors. The renovations to the facility also improves safety and security, provides necessary ADA improvements, and includes upgraded circulation and collaborative spaces.

A variety of engineering labs can easily adapt to new technology and learning styles including lab spaces for structures, robotics, and hydraulics, and student capstone spaces.

The lobby showcases student projects and Oregon Tech’s latest science and engineering programs to students, faculty, and visitors. A two-foot-thick concrete strong wall and floor used for intense product testing is strategically placed in the main hallway to spark interaction and curiosity.
