KCC Work Skills Technology Center

The Work Skills Technology Center functions as an advanced, high-tech learning facility to meet Klamath Community College’s expanding curriculum. The facility’s main purpose is to promote local workforce development through numerous programs focusing on computer science and engineering. This project is the first phase of a two-part campus expansion along with the Founder’s Hall building to create a unified campus experience.

Client: Klamath Community College
Location: Klamath Falls, OR

ADAPTABLE
WHILE PERMANENT

The design of the building fits seamlessly into the rest of the campus. The spaces are flexible and able to grow with new technologies but have a sense of permanency that grounds the facility in its surroundings.

COLLABORATIVE
LEARNING

Two of computer labs are organized in a pod-style layout to encourage interactive learning. Another lab is dedicated to KCC’s Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification program.
