Marcola Elementary School

After a successful bond, BBT was hired to design a new elementary school on the same campus as the existing Mohawk Jr./Sr. High School. The facility needed to fit into the design of the existing campus that had logging undertones along the need to increase student capacity. BBT collaborated with the district school board, administrators, educators and many members of the community who actively participated the decision-making processes on this fast-track project. With this community support, BBT was successful in designing a facility that included a variety of inviting and innovative learning spaces to support the needs of the entire Marcola community.
