Alexander Drake Building

This building was designed to compliment, without duplicating, the character of the award-winning AmeriTitle building located on the north side of Hospital Hill in downtown Bend, also designed by BBT. The sloping side accommodates a ground level entrance to the central lobby at the first and second levels. A central stair and elevator provide convenient access to all levels of the four-story structure. Fine detailing and exterior finishes of brick, a stone-like masonry base and steel cornices yield a contemporary building with a rich sense of permanence while creating a new historic landmark for downtown Bend.
