Scholarship

The BBT Architects Scholarship was established to celebrate the creative spirit and encourage Central Oregon students who wish to pursue a future in design. One $1,000 grant will be awarded, to be used for tuition, books or direct fees for school.

Eligibility requirements –
The scholarship is to be used in pursuing post-secondary education at a community college or four-year institution of higher education.

The student must be entering a design-related program (architecture, interior design, landscape design, mechanical/electrical/industrial/civil engineering or graphic design).

The student must currently be a resident of and enrolled in the Bend La Pine or Redmond School Districts.

Grade point accumulative minimum as of last posted period: 3.0

Submission requirements –
Completed “2012 – 2013 Scholarship Application Form” (to be released in the fall of 2011).

Three reference letters (must include one from an instructor or school employee) with contact information.

One page typed essay explaining educational, career and personal goals in a design-related field.

Application deadline will be approximately April 13, 2012.
