Our Culture
Inside And Out

BBT’s culture allows staff to thrive at work and play. Individuals are empowered to contribute to teams where their skills and input are valued and respected. This can include developing external relationships, exploring innovative design concepts, or even pulling together for Bend’s Pole Pedal Paddle race.

Fridays
at Nine

BBT engages learning and inquiry through our weekly “Fridays at Nine” gatherings. This time allows for conversations around what we do, how we do it, and why we do it from different perspectives.

BALANCING WORK
AND LIFE

Every Friday throughout the year, the BBT office closes at noon to encourage staff to explore the unique venue that is Central Oregon with coworkers, friends, and family.

Community Members
and Makers

One of BBT’s core values is supporting our community and nurturing relationships with local and regional non-profits and businesses. BBT focuses our partnerships, volunteering, and community efforts with organizations that offer staff fulfilling and meaningful opportunities to give back.

Fostering Growth
and Creativity

Lifelong learning is nurtured through a wide variety of developmental avenues. BBT continually seeks out innovative ways to spur professional growth such as the Bend Design conference.

BBT Architects
Scholarship

Our scholarship encourages future careers in a design profession. Each year, BBT awards a $2,500 scholarship to a student who will be enrolling in an architecture or engineering focused curriculum at an accredited college or university.
